Ski Trip and Holiday Extravaganza
Our summer trip to the Canadian Rockies is one of our family’s all-time favorite vacations. Trip highlights include wonderful sightseeing and adventures such as whitewater-river rafting, hiking, canoeing, and caving.
Discovering Japan, a nation full of rich cultural heritage, astonishing landscape, and delicious cuisine. The adventure took us to popular destinations from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, to Takayama.
Colorado is one of the most popular destinations around the holidays, and we now know why. There are tons of family-friendly activities, from skiing and snowboarding, to hot springs, and spectacular holiday lights.
Every year, Denver Botanic Gardens offers visitors a magical winter wonderland experience. With 24-acres of spectacular holiday light displays and festive music, it's the perfect way to celebrate the holidays.
During our visit to Kyoto, we decided to take a day trip to Nara, the ancient capital of Japan. We visited Nara Park, site of the famous Todaiji and Kofukuji Temples. Nara is also uniquely known for the roaming wild deers.
Visiting Kyoto's Higashiyama district felt like taking a trip back to the good old days. The sloping streets and narrow alleys with wooden homes and shops, painted such a classic picture.
Fushimi Inari Taisha, is the oldest Shinto shrine in Japan and is famous for the thousands of bright-red torii gates. It was definitely one of the most fascinating and distinguished places we visited in Kyoto.
A World Heritage Site, this charming village is famous for its traditional farmhouses with slanted rooftops. We visited the village on a snowy day and felt like we were inside a snow globe.
We are a family of four with an active lifestyle. We love creating memories through travel, learning about different cultures around the world, and spending quality time together.
