Our summer trip to the Canadian Rockies is one of our family’s all-time favorite vacations. Trip highlights include wonderful sightseeing and adventures such as whitewater-river rafting, hiking, canoeing, and caving.

Discovering Japan, a nation full of rich cultural heritage, astonishing landscape, and delicious cuisine. The adventure took us to popular destinations from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, to Takayama.

Johnston Canyon is a fantastic hiking trail in Banff, with beautiful waterfalls, overhanging canyon walls, and green forest settings. Our favorite part was walking through a little cave to get close to the Lower Falls.
Calgary is a great city to stop on the way to and from the Canadian Rockies. Before flying out of Calgary International Airport, we spent our last full day of vacation visiting Calgary Zoo and WinSport Canada Olympic Park.
Mistaya Canyon is a hidden gem in the Canadian Rockies. With a short hike from the parking lot, we arrived at the bridge to see the water rushing in from Mistaya River, plunging into the canyon.
Canmore Caving Adventure was a unique excursion that we did during our summer trip to the Canadian Rockies. It was fun crawling, climbing, sliding, and squeezing into tight passages.
The whitewater river rafting in Kananaskis River was a thrilling excursion for our family. The whole experience was well organized from beginning to end, and everyone had a fabulous time.
The scenic Banff Gondola ride took us took to the Sulphur Mountain Summit. We then took the 2-km boardwalk leading to Sanson's Peak. The view was absolutely out of this world.
